Without giving anything away, I would say that certain plot elements of this book reminded me so much of Sinful. Considering that Sinful was such a wonderful and heart-wrenching book, this story ain't bad at all. It has a great heroine in Fable (awesome name). She's strong, independent and pretty much carried the whole story for me. I have nothing against the male lead, Drew but he just didn't do it for me. He's all right but I felt that Fable is the stronger character. This is a short one -- 15 chapters and then a cliffhanger, which I feel is unnecessary. I would have preferred 10 more chapters with the whole story tied up at the end. But apparently publishers are sadists so we have to wait for the next one to come out to get an HEA.
